Samsung Galaxy Note8 Leaked...

Samsung Galaxy Note8

Quoting “a person briefed on the device’s final configuration”, Blass has outlined 15 key details about the Galaxy Note 8. Most deliver the cutting edge tech you would expect, but there are a couple of disappointments which I shall explain after this list:
  • IP68 water and dust certification, like all recent premium Galaxy smartphones
  • Massive 6.3-inch ‘SuperAMOLED’ Infinity Display with minimal bezels
  • New 18.5:9 aspect ratio with 1440 x 2960 (2K) native resolution
  • Design will be more “squared off” (incl. display corners) compared to Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus
  • Device dimensions of 162.5mm x 74.6mm x 8.5mm
  • Globally it ships with the Exynos 8895 chipset with exception of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 in the US
  • 6GB RAM as standard versus 4GB in Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus (some limited 6GB editions were Asia-only exclusives)
  • 64GB of internal storage
  • MicroSD expansion slot retained
  • Rear dual cameras: 12 megapixel, f/1.7 aperture, dual pixel and 12 megapixel, f/2.4 aperture with 2x optical zoom. Optical image stabilisation on both modules
  • Front camera - 8 megapixel, f1.7 aperture
  • 3300mAh battery
  • Quick Charging and Wireless Charging via USB Type-C
  • Midnight Black, Maple Gold, Orchid Grey and Deep Sea Blue color options
  • European pricing circa €1,000, which is circa $1200 but US price expected to be slightly cheaper

Samsung ships over 20 million Galaxy S8, S8+ units

Samsung announced its flagship phones - S8 and S8+ earlier this year. The company brought the phones to India in April. It is hardly some five months that the phone has been made available to the consumers, and within such a short span Samsung has already managed to ship over 20 million units of the Galaxy S8 and S8+ flagship phones. The report comes from a market research firm -- Strategy Analytics. The numbers are recorded until July, and it must have increased by now.
The research firm in its report notes that the per day shipments of the flagship duo has been -- 278,800, to be specific. So in total, the tech giant shipped 19.8 million units in the April-June period. This report comes in after some report revealed that Galaxy S8 sales are slowing down. But, that's surely never happened.  Last month, Samsung has said that the latest flagships are around 15 per cent higher than their predecessors - Galaxy S7, S7 Edge and the others. While in some other report the South Korean company said that Galaxy S8 sales have in fact been double that of the S7 in some markets.
